About Dr. Arif Pyarali

A clinician turned learning architect.

I started my career as a dentist. Somewhere along the way I realized I cared even more about how people learn, grow, and lead than about treating them one chair at a time.

That pivot took me from clinical practice to leading Global Learning & Development at Aga Khan University Hospital and Nutrition International — two of the world's most demanding, high-stakes environments for organizational learning. Along the way I trained and coached leaders across 11 countries, worked with 248 organizations, and earned certifications from Harvard, Korn Ferry, ICF, and the World Bank.

Today I'm based in Ottawa, Canada. I bring that global experience to health, development, and international organizations here and worldwide — through Atom Learning Global. I understand how leadership works under real-world pressure, across cultures and hierarchies, with limited resources and high expectations. Because I've been inside those organizations, not just consulting to them.
